About this file

This is an Addendum document outlining pay items for the City of DeBary's Bill Keller Park Infield Renovations project in Florida. The addendum specifies detailed specifications for two critical construction pay items related to the renovation of two youth baseball infields at Bill Keller Park. Pay Item 18-11 covers the complete removal and reconstruction of one full-size 18-foot diameter pitcher's mound using Pro Mound Packing Clay or equivalent material, topped with Pro's Choice Pro Red premium top dressing material spread to a half-inch thickness, lightly watered and tamped into place. This pay item includes verification and adjustment of mound grades, installation of a new 24-inch four-sided pitching rubber supplied by the City, and removal of approximately four feet of Bermuda sod around the mound's perimeter to ensure proper finish grade and water runoff. Pay Item 18-12 addresses the supply and installation of Crimson Stone Warning Track Material or approved equivalent, requiring the contractor to move materials into place, match existing slopes with finish material, remove all residual materials, and restore the site to its original condition.

The project must be completed with sod stabilized by August 23, 2018, when fall ball commences, with equipment mobilization beginning July 2, 2018. The addendum emphasizes the contractor's responsibility for material procurement, site preparation, and precise installation according to specified standards. All residual materials generated during construction activities must be removed and the work area restored to baseline conditions upon completion of each pay item.
