About this file

This is Addendum No. 2 to ITB 26-139-PW, issued by Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) on August 10, 2026, for the Van Buren Street Main Replacement project in Eugene, Oregon. The addendum addresses three critical clarifications regarding contractor responsibilities and material specifications. EWEB will assume responsibility for railroad track flagging and monitoring, relieving the contractor of this cost. At Sheet B-39902-C1, the contractor is required to stop work at the 6-inch blowoff assembly; EWEB will handle reconnection to existing hydrant #10526 and will not install a new hydrant assembly as a replacement. The 16-inch butterfly valve at station 11+37.1 is specified as an MJ x MJ valve, clarifying discrepancies in the original notes. The bid submission deadline remains unchanged at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Thursday, August 13, 2026, with the First-Tier Subcontractor List due by 4:00 p.m. on the same date. This addendum constitutes a material change to the bid documents, requiring acknowledgment through signature and return with the bid response or by circling the addendum number on the bid form.

The addendum does not contain specific pricing information, set-asides, or funding details. Its primary purpose is to modify bidder obligations and clarify technical specifications to ensure accurate bid preparation. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum and confirm agreement to be bound by its conditions as a prerequisite for bid acceptance.
