RE: ITB #: DOT-ITB-23-4009-CO

RFP TITLE: ALLIGATOR ALLEY STATUE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATIONAL PROJECT

OPENING DATE: 3-29-2023

Notice is hereby given of the following answers to questions and Revised Invitation to Bid (ITB shell-Commodity) and Revised Attached Forms regarding the above-referenced ITB:

# Questions Answers

1. Reading through the ITB, the Timeline on page 4 states Bids are due on or before 3/29/23, at 10:30am and to submit Electronically. However I noticed on page 12, # 22, under Required Documents, it reads “all bud sheets and other documentation submitted in response to this solicitation must be executed and submitted in a sealed envelope”.

Can you verify if bids will be accepted electronically, mailed hard copies, or is this just referring to the Price Page only must be mailed?

All bids must be submitted electronically. The Invitation to Bid was revised.

2. For the photos, it reads “The digital image must include an original true-life statue of the American Alligator”. Does this mean one of our photos must include a picture of any bronze alligator or one that we’ve sculpted?

Yes, digital image must include an original true-life statue of the American Alligator that has been produced by the Company/Bidder.

Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this document by completing and returning to the Procurement Office with their Bid via email at D4.Purch@dot.state.fl.us , by no later than the time and date of the proposal opening. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification.
