About this file
This Addendum No. 1 pertains to the Professional Moving Services for the St. Clair Shores Police Department and Central Fire Department in Michigan. The document outlines the relocation plan for both departments, which will be temporarily relocated to St. Lucy Grade School due to demolition and reconstruction of their existing facilities. The Police Department will move to the temporary location in the first week of October 2024 and is expected to return to the new facility around March 2026. The Central Fire Station will follow a similar timeline, with a move-out anticipated in the first week of October 2024 and a return to the new facility around February 2026. The move involves packing and relocating all contents, including desks, chairs, file cabinets, and equipment, with specific instructions for storing items in the school's gymnasium and setting up administrative spaces.
The addendum provides specific details about the bed relocation, noting that nine beds from the Central Fire Station will be moved to two different addresses: five to six beds to 23815 Greater Mack and two to three beds to 22341 Cedar Street. The document also addresses three key questions: the required number of proposal copies (3 hard copies), elevator interior dimensions at the Police Department (5'-8 5/16" wide, 4'-3 9/16" deep by 7'-9" high), and a note that the stove at the Central Fire Station will be moved by others. Bidders are instructed to initial, date, and include this addendum in their proposal package, indicating it is part of a competitive bidding process for professional moving services.
