About this file
This is Addendum No. 4 to Invitation for Bid #03A3796 issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for On-Call Modular Systems Furniture Installation and Disassembly and Moving Services in Yuba and Sacramento Counties. The addendum revises two items in Attachment 5, Exhibit A of the IFB: Item 1 clarifies that the contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, travel, and incidentals for on-call MSF and moving services, specifically excluding the Telework Space Planning Project. Item 5 establishes that the agreement will commence on June 15, 2025 (or upon Caltrans approval) and expire on June 14, 2028, with services to be provided Monday through Saturday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except on State holidays, with potential evening and Sunday work as requested by the Caltrans Contract Manager.
The addendum explicitly removes the Telework Space Planning Project from the scope, which would have involved reducing office space footprint in Marysville and Sacramento areas through lease terminations, staff relocations, and modifications to create shared workstations and hoteling areas. All other terms and conditions in the original IFB remain unchanged.

ADDENDUM No. 4 Invitation for Bid # 03A3796
On-Call Modular Systems Furniture Installation and Disassembly and Moving Services, Yuba, and Sacramento Counties
NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
Addendum No. 4 is hereby issued for the above referenced IFB. Bids for this work shall be with the full understanding of this Addendum.
THE FOLLOWING CHANGE HAS BEEN MADE FOR THIS IFB:
1. IFB, Attachment 5, Exhibit A, Item 1 has been revised to read as follows:
1. Contractor agrees to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to perform on-call Modular Systems Furniture (MSF) and moving services, including the assembly and disassembly, and transportation of various furniture, goods, and materials, to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as described herein.
These on-call moving and MSF services shall not include the Telework Space Planning Project. The Telework Space Planning Project involves reducing the Caltrans office space footprint in the Marysville and Sacramento area by terminating some leases and relocating staff to other State-owned or leased facilities. The project includes internal staff moves from leased office spaces that are being terminated and internal staffing relocations to accommodate the additional staff moving in. In addition, the project includes MSF modifications in office space to create shared (double) occupancy workstations, “hoteling” work areas, collaboration areas, and additional storage for full-time teleworking staff to maximize occupancy within existing office space.
2. IFB, Attachment 5, Exhibit A, Item 5 has been revised to read as follows:
5. This Agreement will commence on June 15, 2025 (est.), or upon approval by
Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on June 14, 2028 (est.). The services shall be provided during 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except State holidays.
Services may be needed outside of these hours, including evenings and Sundays, which will be requested by Caltrans Contract Manager. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
IFB 03A3796
Addendum 4
NOTE: All other terms and conditions set forth in the IFB shall remain in full force and effect.
Sincerely, Phuong Vu Contract Analyst
