1. Contractor agrees to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to perform on-call Modular Systems Furniture (MSF) and moving services, including the assembly and disassembly, and transportation of various furniture, goods, and materials, to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as described herein.

These on-call moving and MSF services shall not include the Telework Space Planning Project. The Telework Space Planning Project involves reducing the Caltrans office space footprint in the Sacramento area by terminating some leases and relocating staff to other State-owned or leased facilities. The project includes internal staff moves from leased office spaces that are being terminated and internal staffing relocations to accommodate the additional staff moving in. In addition, the project includes MSF modifications in office space to create shared (double) occupancy workstations, “hoteling” work areas, collaboration areas, and additional storage for full-time teleworking staff to maximize occupancy within existing office space.
