About this file

This is Construction Bid Addendum No. 3 issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), State Facilities Administration, Design & Construction Division for the Kavco Landfill project located at 1001 W. Day Road, Plainwell, MI. The addendum is dated 7/24/2025, with a bid opening date of 7/30/2025, and pertains to File Number 761/18139.SAR. The document provides clarifications and responses to seven specific questions from potential bidders regarding fence installation, tree removal, and project scheduling. Key updates include guidance on existing fence preservation, acceptable tree damage, specific tree clearing areas, and confirmation of new fencing locations.

The addendum indicates flexibility in project timing, with the ownership team open to proposals suggesting a spring 2026 project start and completion. Bidders are advised that tree work may potentially be completed after December 1, though no specific season is guaranteed. The professional contact is Mike Cox from AECOM, with Sadi Rayyan serving as the project director. Bidders are warned that failing to acknowledge this addendum in their bid submission may result in bid rejection, and the addendum will become part of the contract documents.
