MAY SUBJECT YOUR BID TO REJECTION ON THE AFFECTED ITEM(S).
Bid Number: 73-RFP00711 Commodity: P.A. System Bardo Performing Arts Center Addendum Number: 3 Opening Date/Time: 10/07/2024 @ 2:00 PM ET
Agent: Rick Hooper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The following concerns the above referenced bid:
Correction:
Question: 5.2 Specifications, Pg 14, Are the existing motors single or three phase in the catwalk?
Answer: The two Left and Right Clusters are currently hung on manual wenches rated at
2,500lbs each. These do not need to be replaced if your Left and Right rig's weigh less than that and if the attachment points work for your hanging plates. The existing winch’s should suffice. There is no power at those locations. The center cluster is on a motorized wench that is rated for 1,500lbs. This should also be sufficient if the center hang is under that weight and the hanging plates specified are compatible.
Question: Can we get measurements on separation width of the cables (left to right) on all three points with the existing hoist system? A custom frame adapter will need to be made to adapt to points left and right instead of front and rear.
Answer: The cables on the main LR hang have around a 2’ separation, and the Center hang has around a 4’ separation.
Question: What is the distance down from the hoist pulleys to the bottom of the acoustic board?
Answer: The distance from the pulley to the bottom of the acoustic cloud is around 17’.
