About this file
This document is an Addendum for Bid Number 73-RFP00711 issued by Western Carolina University for a P.A. System for the Bardo Performing Arts Center. The addendum provides clarification on several questions related to the project specifications, including the existing motor types, wiring requirements for the Clear Com system, wireless microphone needs, existing 70-volt systems, power control preferences, and lift access for speaker rigging. The project must be completed by May 31, 2025, and there is no anticipated start date provided.
The addendum also extends the deadline for submitting questions to September 26, 2024. Vendors who attended one of the two site visits will receive additional drawings and pictures related to the questions addressed. The specification requires a digital Clear Com system, with 6 wired stations, 10 wired belt packs/headsets, and 8 wireless packs/headsets to be replaced. The project also involves updating the 70-volt amplifier system for three zones: Backstage, Lobby, and Lighting/Video Booth.

Answer: The two Left and Right Clusters are currently hung on manual wenches rated at
