About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 2 to the Contract Documents for the Highway 9 Sidewalk Improvements project located in Frisco, Colorado, dated April 16, 2024. The addendum introduces two specific modifications to the original contract documents: first, on Sheet S6 (Excavation and Backfill Details), the 3'-0" minimum excavation requirement beneath retaining walls is deleted, with only a 1'-0" excavation for the leveling pad now required; second, on Sheet 12 of 39, the Fiber Conduit Typical Trench minimum bury depth is changed from 24" to 48".
These modifications appear to be technical adjustments to the project's engineering specifications, likely aimed at refining the construction requirements for the sidewalk improvement project. The changes suggest potential optimization of excavation depths and underground conduit installation, which could impact the project's constructability, material requirements, and potentially the overall project cost. No additional financial or contractual details are provided in this specific addendum document.
