The City seeks proposals for an initial order of 13,500 roll carts available in three sizes: 96 gallons, 64 gallons, and 48 gallons. Proposals must remain valid for 120 days from bid opening or through final shipment of carts, whichever is later. Pricing shall be quoted F.O.B. City of Marietta, Georgia, and must include unit prices per cart for each size, estimated shipping and handling costs, and estimated reorder pricing for additional quantities needed after the initial award. Bidders must complete the revised Exhibit F cost proposal form and provide appropriate occupational tax or business license documentation from their state or city of business operations. Subcontractors are not required for this project; if none are used, vendors should simply note "No Subs" on Exhibits B-1 and B-2. THE CITY OF MARIETTA
MARIETTA, GEORGIA

ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO:
CITY OF MARIETTA PROPOSAL NO. RFP-23-48286
FOR
RESIDENTIAL ROLL CARTS FOR SANITATION
All prospective proposers are hereby advised to make the changes to the Proposal documents in their possession as shown and/or described in the attached information:
Change, replace or add the following in the above referenced proposal:
1. Can the City please clarify how long the Proposal must be valid for?
On the main page of the City’s website RFP posting the following is stated:
“Contract, when awarded will be on the basis of information contained in the Proposal Documents. Proposals must be valid for a period of (90) days after-bid opening.”
In the RFP document Article 11 Irrevocable Offer states:
“Any proposal may be withdrawn up until the date and time set above for the opening of proposal. Any proposal not withdrawn shall, upon opening, constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of 120 days to sell to The City of Marietta the goods or services set forth in the attached specifications until one or more of the proposals have been duly accepted by the City. All prices shall be quoted F.O.B. City of Marietta, Georgia.”
To clarify, cost proposal must be valid for a period of 120 days or through final shipment of carts. All carts to be delivered from award of contract through December 31, 2022, if possible, from Contractor’s stated delivery schedule. Also, please state reorder pricing if additional quantities are needed, thereafter. See attached (revised) Exhibit “F”.
2. The RFP document does not state delivery time frames or delivery quantities. Can the City please clarify if they would like to 13,500 carts delivered in the initial order or if the city intends to have the delivery of the 13,500 carts spread out?
We anticipate an initial order of 13,500 roll carts. The vendors quoting on this proposal need to indicate delivery lead times for this initial order.
