About this file

This document is Addendum No. 2 for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 2502801, issued by the City of Leesburg for the Air Traffic Control Tower Rehabilitation Project. The addendum, dated September 25, 2025, is distributed to all interested bidders and parties, providing clarifications and updates to the original bid document. The primary purpose of this addendum is to address a request for information (RFI) from potential bidders, specifically answering whether furniture will be needed for the rehabilitation project, to which the city responded "No."

The addendum requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by indicating so on the Proposal Bid Form, with instructions for those who have already submitted their bid to revise their electronic submission. The document provides a space for bidders to formally acknowledge the addendum by completing a section with their company name, an officer's signature, and the officer's printed name and title. The city will construe all received bids as an acknowledgment of this addendum, ensuring all potential contractors are aware of the updated information for the Air Traffic Control Tower Rehabilitation Project.

Text version

DATE: September 25, 2025 TO: All Interested Bidders and Other Interested Parties FROM: Hosea Goodwyn, Senior Buyer

The City makes the following changes, additions, deletions, information, and/or clarifications and now considers the addendum a part of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) Document. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by indicating receipt in the space provided on the Proposal Bid Form. If the bidder has already submitted the Proposal Bid Form to the City’s Procurement Division, the Bidder should revise their electronic submission to include this addendum. In any case, the submission of a bid is an acknowledgment of receipt of the addendum. The City will construe all bids received as though the Bidder has received and acknowledged the addendum.

Below is the City’s reply to RFIs (Request for Information – a/k/a bid inquiries or questions) submitted by interested parties by the posted deadline to submit RFIs.
