About this file
This is Addendum #1 for ITB #10667-2 issued by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) for the Sitka Sedge State Natural Area Residence Renovation Project in Polk County. The addendum modifies technical specifications for metal roof panels, specifically updating the basis of design to MS-150 by Taylor Metals and adding approved equals from AEP Span and TBC Masterseam. It also revises earthwork specifications to allow clean excavated soil to be disposed of onsite at an owner-determined location, while contaminated soil must be disposed of offsite. The addendum includes responses to questions from a pre-bid conference held on December 17, 2024, and prospective bidders have until December 24, 2024, to submit requests for changes or protests regarding this addendum.
The addendum clarifies several cost and scope items, including that OPRD intends to use the current electrical panel, with potential changes negotiated through change orders if needed. It confirms that the owner will provide the range hood for contractor installation, and addresses questions about wood flooring under the wood stove. The bid bond requirement is specified as 10% of the base bid only. A revised Exhibit 1 - Bid Pricing Submittal is included with the addendum, though the specific pricing details are not provided in the document.

1. QUESTION: Will the current electrical panel need to be updated?
