About this file

This is Addendum #1 to an Invitation for Bids issued by the City of Cambridge, Maryland for On-Call Traffic Calming & Safety Projects. The project scope involves furnishing and installing signs, markings, and other items to slow traffic and improve safety in Cambridge, with potential for piggyback by other Maryland jurisdictions. The original bid due date has been extended to Friday, August 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

The addendum clarifies the basis of award and bid submission options. Unless otherwise determined to be in the City's best interest, the contract shall be awarded to the lowest bidder on the total bid price for all items on Schedules A through C, with the City retaining discretion to award separate contract(s) for the lowest bidder for Schedules D and E. Bidders may submit proposals for any of the following combinations: Schedules A through C only (omitting D and E), Schedules D and E only (omitting A through C), or all Schedules A through E. The lowest bid price is calculated as the sum of line-item unit price extensions for the applicable schedule(s). The addendum also corrects a reference in the Excel Worksheet for Bids, noting that Line 108 should refer to Schedule E Items 167-168 rather than Schedule D.
