About this file
This Addendum No. 1, issued by the Florida Department of Commerce on June 29, 2026, revises the Calendar of Events for RFP 27-RFP-003-VW for an Advanced Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform. The amendment accelerates critical solicitation dates: technical questions from prospective respondents are due June 23, 2026, at 4:30 PM EST; the Questions and Answers posting has been moved to June 30, 2026; proposals are now due July 9, 2026, at 2:30 PM EST (rather than July 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST); and proposals will be opened on July 9, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST. The anticipated evaluation of technical proposals is scheduled for July 16, 2026, with a Notice of Intent to Award anticipated on July 28, 2026, and contract execution anticipated in August 2026. The contract period spans August 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with renewal options for up to three additional one-year periods at Commerce's discretion. All submissions must be directed to the Caldwell Building, 107 East Madison Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399, with technical inquiries submitted via email only to the Florida Vendor Information Portal website.
The solicitation maintains a fixed-price contract structure with all costs—personnel, equipment, supplies, insurance, travel, and miscellaneous expenses—included in the contractor's pricing. Proposals are evaluated on a maximum of 200 points, comprising technical response (130 points), past performance references (40 points), and cost (30 points). Respondents must register with MyFloridaMarketPlace and comply with Florida Department of State registration requirements, while maintaining workers' compensation and commercial general liability insurance with minimum limits of $100,000 per occurrence and $500,000 aggregate. The contractor assumes full operational responsibilities within 30 days of contract execution and must provide 24-hour daily platform availability with planned maintenance outside business hours. A one percent transaction fee applies to MyFloridaMarketPlace payments unless the contractor qualifies for exemption. Contracts are contingent upon annual legislative appropriations, with Commerce retaining the right to terminate for lack of funds with twenty-four hours' notice or for cause.
