About this file

This Addendum #1 document clarifies questions from a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting held on January 24, 2025, for Rogue Community College's Construction Management/General Contractor (CMGC) Services Request for Proposal No. P17926-2025-02-13 for Transportation Technology Buildings. The RFP seeks qualified architects and contractors simultaneously to design and construct two identical 14,000-square-foot transportation training facilities—one at the Redwood Campus (RWC) and one at the Table Rock Campus (TRC)—to deliver the same program experience regardless of location. The project includes demolition of the upper section of an existing S building at RWC, with specific modifications to be determined during the design phase. The RFP closing date is February 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time, with proposals submitted to Rogue Community College's Contract and Procurement Director. The anticipated project schedule is detailed on page 8 of the primary RFP document, with selection timeline and subsequent phases outlined therein.

The addendum addresses operational and environmental considerations for the project, including confirmation that no lengthy permit process is anticipated except for conditional use permitting at the RWC location. Space allocation between service bays and vehicle work areas will be determined during the program review and design phase. Environmental feasibility studies and requirements will be addressed in accordance with specifications contained in Addendum 1 of the related Architect RFQ. The document confirms that both design and construction services are being procured in a single solicitation, streamlining the delivery approach for both campus locations.
