About this file
This document is an Addendum #1 issued by the Dallas County Purchasing Department regarding a transition from BidSync to BidNet as the county's third-party solicitation platform. Effective December 19, 2024, Dallas County will no longer support BidSync and will transition all business opportunities, solicitation notifications, and vendor bid responses to BidNet. Vendors currently registered in BidSync will receive an email notification and must re-register on BidNet to continue receiving solicitation notifications and participating in current and future bids. The registration process is free, and vendors can register at www.bidnetdirect.com/texas/dallas-county.
The addendum includes a step-by-step electronic bid submission (EBS) user guide for Dallas County, Texas, which walks vendors through the registration process, account activation, profile completion, and bid submission procedures. The guide covers key steps including creating an account, confirming organization and contact information, selecting category codes, uploading documents, entering pricing, and submitting bids. Vendors are instructed to download tutorial documents, complete their profiles, and can contact BidNet Direct's Support Department at 800-835-4603, Option 2, for assistance during the transition.

ADDENDUM # 1
Effective December 19, 2024, Dallas County’s third-party solicitation platform, BidSync, will no longer be supported. As a result, the Dallas County Purchasing Department has transitioned to BidNet for all future business opportunities, solicitation notifications, and vendor bid responses.
Vendors currently registered in BidSync will receive an email notification from info@communications.bidnetdirect.com regarding this transition. To continue receiving solicitation notifications and updates, vendors must register in BidNet in order to participate in current bids and continue receiving Dallas County business opportunities.
If your company is not already a BidNet user, please use the following link to begin the registration process: www.bidnetdirect.com/texas/dallas-county. There is no additional cost to create an account or to respond to Dallas County business opportunities with BidNet. Since BidSync will no longer be available after December 18, 2024, it is imperative that you complete your registration with BidNet as soon as you receive this notification.
For your convenience, we have included tutorial and navigational documents with this addendum.
For questions or assistance, please contact BidNet Direct’s Support Department at 800-835-4603, Option 2.
