About this file

This is Addendum #1 to Bid Invitation #2749-23 issued by the State of New Hampshire Bureau of Purchase and Property for a Fasteners Miscellaneous contract. The addendum addresses vendor inquiries regarding representative visit requirements and vendor eligibility. The bid closing date is May 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM EST. According to the State's response, a dedicated representative is required, though on-site visits are not mandatory. State agencies may place orders through telephone, electronic order entry, email, FAX, or established standard delivery orders. Vendors may also utilize their own individually established ordering procedures.

The addendum clarifies that vendors with a New Hampshire Secretary of State registration application in progress remain eligible to submit bids. However, successful bidders cannot be awarded a State of New Hampshire contract until all applicable criteria are met, including completion of the State of New Hampshire Vendor Application as specified on page 5 of the bid documents. Bidders must sign and return the addendum with their bid documents to ensure compliance. The purchasing agent for this procurement is Liz Moskalenko, and additional bid information and addendums are available on the State's purchasing website at https://das.nh.gov/purchasing/purchasing.asp.

Vendor Question(s):

1) It wasn’t stated in the Scope of work, do you require a Representative to visit each location?

• How often would the locations need to be visited each month if needed?

• If not, will each location buy through e-commerce/ or would require inside sales to call?

2) Would we still be eligible bidding, if we have a NH Secretary of State Registration application in progress?

Agency Response(s):

1) The State shall always request a dedicated representative. While visits are appreciated, they aren’t necessary.

• As per standard State ordering procedures: State agencies shall place orders by telephone, electronic order entry, e-mail, FAX, or they may establish a standard delivery order. Eligible participants are able to utilize their own individually established ordering procedures.

2) Yes, vendors are eligible to bid on any State of New Hampshire contract. Successful bidding vendors are not able to be awarded a State of New Hampshire Contract until all criteria has been met (please see Bid 2749-23 State of New Hampshire Vendor Application Section (Page 5 of 15)).
