About this file

This Addendum 1 document pertains to a Request for Qualifications (RFQu) issued by Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) in Jonesboro, Georgia, for the procurement of supplemental educational services including tutoring, homework assistance, and afterschool enrichment programs. The RFQu seeks qualified proponents to provide services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade who have been identified with deficiencies in reading, writing, English/language arts, math, science, and/or social studies. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference was held on April 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. EST via Zoom, with attendance documentation provided in the addendum. The addendum clarifies and amends requirements from the original RFQu, extends the deadline for posting answers to questions to Friday, May 12, 2023, and provides the CCPS 2023-2024 school calendar as a reference for service delivery timing. Qualified proponents will provide services on an as-needed basis to CCPS beginning with the Fall Semester of the 2023 Academic Year.

The addendum replaces Section 9 (Response Preparation and Guidelines) in its entirety, establishing specific formatting requirements for technical and cost proposals. Technical responses must be submitted separately from cost proposals and organized with tabs addressing methodology, organizational experience, qualifications, financial capability, and project references—with a suggested limit of 100 pages excluding required forms. Responses must not include pricing information and must address specific technical requirements including service delivery methods (in-person, virtual, or hybrid), capacity for serving students with disabilities and English learners, integration with Canvas Learning Management System and Chromebooks, and familiarity with assessment tools including iReady, Achieve 3000, Illuminate, NEWA MAP, and Georgia Milestones Assessment System. Proponents must provide organizational charts, staff credentials, four client references, three project examples, and financial disclosures demonstrating organizational capability. All proposals require acknowledgment of receipt of the addendum, and failure to provide mandatory forms and properly authorized signatures may result in proposal rejection.

Failure to provide the information or documentation required may cause a proposal to be declared non-responsive and rejected. Failure to have an authorized representative sign all documents at the signature line, or failure to have all documents properly notarized as requested, may cause a proposal to be declared no n-responsive and rejected.
