About this file
This document is Addendum 1 to Request for Quote (RFQ) 230027C001 for the Oregon Military Museum HVAC Project, issued by the Oregon Military Department (OMD). The addendum provides changes, clarifications, and responses to questions regarding the solicitation to replace five (5) existing air handling units (AHUs) and rooftop units (RTUs) with new units that have humidification and dehumidification capabilities. The project is located in Clackamas County, Oregon. The addendum notes that mechanical and structural permits must be included in contractor bids, and that the proposed PETRA packaged and split rooftop units are not an acceptable substitution. Bidders must acknowledge this addendum in their submissions, and any protests of changes made in the addendum must be submitted by May 15, 2023.
The RFQ requires commercial-grade HVAC equipment. It does not require engineered stamped drawings for mechanical or electrical work, nor does it require structural/seismic engineering, as the weight of the new units is similar to the existing units. The addendum clarifies that spring isolation curbs are not provided, and that the existing roof warranty and roofing contractor requirements are not applicable.
