About this file
This addendum document relates to the Gas Tank/Dispenser proposal for Haralson County School District in Georgia and modifies the general terms and conditions of the contract opportunity. The addendum specifically removes Cyber Liability/Data Breach Insurance requirements that were previously listed as item number 29 in the general terms and conditions. The original requirement mandated that proposers maintain cyber liability and data breach insurance coverage in an amount of no less than three million dollars per occurrence, with coverage for both first-party and third-party liability, provided by an insurance company authorized to transact business in Georgia with an AM Best rating of "A" or better. The requirement also specified that a certificate of insurance naming the school district as an additional insured be provided prior to contract execution and that any termination or non-renewal include thirty days' notice to the client.
By issuing this addendum dated October 8, 2021, Haralson County School District has eliminated the cyber liability and data breach insurance requirement entirely from the proposal requirements. This modification reduces the insurance obligations and associated costs that would have been imposed on proposers responding to the gas tank and dispenser installation project. The removal of this requirement simplifies the proposal submission process and may broaden the pool of eligible bidders for the project.
