About this file
This document is an Addenda No. 1 for a Request for Proposal (RFP) 09232025 issued by Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) for Professional Services and Related Project Management Services. The addenda addresses vendor questions and provides updated proposal submission guidelines, specifically extending the proposal deadline to October 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM, and increasing the page limit from 10 to a maximum of 15 pages. Proposers are instructed to submit 7 paper copies and 1 electronic PDF copy on a USB thumb drive to the MHCC Purchasing Office located in Gresham, Oregon.
The addenda also reveals that MHCC has not fully implemented electronic proposal submission systems, with some potential proposers lacking access to Oregonbuys or preferring traditional hard copy submissions. The last addenda for this RFP will be issued on October 14, 2025. While the document does not provide detailed information about the specific project management services sought, it demonstrates MHCC's flexibility in responding to potential proposers' requests by adjusting submission requirements to accommodate vendor needs.

VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
Q1 - During yesterday’s pre-proposal conference you referenced the proposal submittal needing to include seven hard copies and one electronic copy. Should the electronic copy be via a USB thumb drive with PDF format files?
Answer: 7 paper copies and 1 electronic copy in PDF format on a USB thumb drive
Please deliver proposals to the following address:
Mt. Hood Community College ATTN: Purchasing Office
Mejdi Mahjoub – Room 50 26000 SE Stark
Gresham OR 97030
Q2 - Would MHCC be willing to extend the proposal deadline a few extra days? Additionally, would MHCC be open to increasing the page limit from 10 pages to 12-15 pages?
Answer: Multiple prospective proposers asked this question and MHCC decided to extend the due date to the following:
Proposals are now due on 10-21-2025 at 2:00 PM
Page limit has been increased to a maximum of 15 pages.
Due to this extension, the last addenda will be issued on 10-14-2025
Q3- Has MHCC considered electronic transmission of proposals? It has become quite common in the industry, and eliminates the impact, time, and expense of printing. We’re fine either way but wanted to ask.
Answer: MHCC did not fully implement it’s own electronic systems for proposal submission and management and some Proposers might not have access to Oregonbuys to submit proposals or are not computer savvy and still prefer submitting hard copies.
