About this file

This document is Addendum No. 06 to the Department of Children and Families' (DCF) Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) for Behavioral Health Services Managing Entities in Florida. The ITN covers 16 counties in the Northwest region, including Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, and others. The addendum extends the timeline for the ITN, with the new response due date of 04/29/2024 and the public reply opening date of 04/29/2024. The anticipated contract award posting date is 08/12/2024 and the anticipated contract effective date is 09/01/2024. Respondents that previously submitted a response do not need to resubmit, but may withdraw and replace their prior response by the new due date.

The ITN is issued pursuant to Florida Statute 394.9082 for the purpose of procuring a Managing Entity to plan, coordinate, and contract for the delivery of substance abuse and mental health services through a comprehensive behavioral health system of care. Organizations may submit replies that differ from the regional groups identified, but must include a justification for why subdividing or expanding the regions is in the state's best interest. The Department will proceed with the next steps in accordance with Florida Statute 287.057(6) if the region still does not receive two responsive bids.
