About this file

The document is an addendum for an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) for Environmental Housekeeping Services (EVS), Facility Maintenance Operations (FM), Landscaping, and Transportation Services at the Florida State Hospital (FSH). The ITN seeks a single provider to assist FSH with accomplishing its mission to provide comprehensive mental health treatment services and ensure a clean and sanitary environment across the campus. This addendum provides clarifications and changes to the original ITN, including the addition of building maps and asset inventory, updates to service requirements, and responses to vendor inquiries. The response deadline has been extended to January 4, 2024.

The ITN requires the selected provider to supply all labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the requested services. Pricing is to be structured on a monthly basis for the initial five-year term and potential five-year renewal. The Department has an anticipated budget but cannot determine exact amounts at this time. The current provider has been in place for approximately 12 years, and the Department is seeking to transition to a new provider. Vendors are encouraged to propose innovative approaches to meet the facility's needs within the stated requirements.
