About this file

This is an Acknowledgment of Amendment No. 2 document issued by the Mississippi Department of Education for Invitation for Bids (IFB) RFX No. 3160008122 regarding preventive maintenance services for one Liebert NPOWER 65-80 UPS unit (80 kVA) and one Liebert Split System HVAC unit (1 Ton) located at 359 North West Street, Jackson, Mississippi. The amendment modifies Section 10 (Award) of the original IFB issued August 13, 2026, and incorporates a comprehensive Questions and Answers document. Bids are due September 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CST, with contract award expected by December 15, 2026. The contract will commence December 15, 2026, and continue through December 14, 2031, for a fixed five-year term with no renewal options. Each contract year is contingent upon prior-year performance evaluation and fund availability. An optional site walk-through was scheduled for September 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. CST.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive bidder meeting all specifications based on adherence to conditions and requirements, bidder qualifications including past performance and financial responsibility, delivery or completion dates, workmanship and quality, and overall specification compliance. Bidders must be established vendors with at least five years of experience and provide three references from continental U.S. customers served within the past two years. Fixed-price bids must be itemized by year for all five years and include all labor, travel, parts, and emergency response costs with no hidden fees permitted. Annual price adjustments may be allowed up to the lesser of 5% or the annual Consumer Price Index increase. A performance bond equal to 100% of the annual contract amount is mandatory within ten days of contract execution and prior to service commencement; bonds are non-waivable and non-negotiable. Bids that do not include both UPS and HVAC maintenance services will not be considered. Parts coverage specifically excludes major components such as batteries, capacitors, fans, control boards, power modules, and compressor/refrigerant replacement; repairs identified during servicing will be quoted separately.

7 I have a few questions on the UPS and HVAC Preventative Maintenance Services.

You listed these two pieces of equipment:

SN: 37-5121

HVAC

Make: Liebert Split System Model: VH075A-AA63-001 Size: 1 Ton

On the HVAC (split system) This should have another piece of equipment.

Also I need pictures of the Name Plates please so I can get all the information about the equipment. This should have the Model number, serial number, etc.
