About this file
This Request for Information from the U.S. Army seeks industry input on an acquisition strategy for gunnery training systems. The RFI indicates the government anticipates providing one fully functional system per existing device type for technical refresh/upgrade in-plant, with all other existing systems refreshed/upgraded on site. Scope of work includes hardware/software upgrades to currently fielded systems, innovative solutions for new training devices, and software enhancements. The government estimates $100-$500 million in funding over FY20-FY27 for programs including Abrams AGTS, Bradley COFT, Stryker training systems, and USMC light armored vehicle training. Responses are due within 15 days and should provide recommendations for a broad contracting strategy covering these programs, including contract type and structure, small business participation, and delivery schedule. Risks, cost drivers, and other relevant information should also be included.
