About this file
This is a Question and Answer document for RFQ No. AA-2026-05 issued by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) for Flexible LMR Cable assemblies. The solicitation clarifies key technical and delivery requirements based on four questions submitted by potential offerors.
The cable assemblies must feature LMR-195-FR fire-rated coax cable with SMA Male to SMA Male connectors, with the frequency range specification lowered from 18 GHz to 8 GHz to align with the LMR-195-FR rating. Additional requirements include possible phase matching, RF testing, and custom labels in four colors: Blue, Red, Green, and White. Cables must be delivered as sets of four units, with each set containing one cable of each required color. LBNL will not accept equivalent cable types other than LMR. All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain unchanged. The response date for proposals is April 23, 2026.
