About this file
This document is a justification for limiting competition to brand name Avaya IP Office phone systems and office phones for the National Park Service Intermountain Region. The agency seeks to standardize on the Avaya IP Office phone system for small to medium sized park units that do not have staffed IT specialists and rely on the IMRO Telecommunication Specialist for support and management of their phone systems. Maintaining a single platform allows for improved backup support, continuity of operations, and interchangeability of equipment. The solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov as a small business set-aside. Interested vendors must be Avaya brand resellers registered in SAM.gov. Technical requirements are certified by the IT specialist at LYJO Park. The contracting officer also certifies that the justification is accurate. The related opportunity is solicitation number 140P1323Q0097 for an Avaya VoIP phone system with option years for the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region.
