About this file
This document is a Data Item Description (DID) for a Commissioning Plan (CxP). The CxP describes the scope, strategies, and responsibilities for the commissioning process across all phases of a project, including design, construction, testing, and documentation.
The key details include:
- The CxP outlines the overall commissioning process, schedule, organization, responsibilities, and documentation requirements.
- It covers pre-design activities, design activities, construction activities, check and verification procedures, start-up and testing, integration testing, documentation (e.g. systems manuals, O&M manuals), and training.
- The DID specifies the required format and content sections for the CxP, such as an overview, commissioning team roles and responsibilities, and reporting requirements.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the procurement of IP CCTV cameras, video storage, and integration with an existing security system for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division. This is a firm fixed price contract.
