Key deliverables include a Shock Test Report, draft and final versions to be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word and PDF formats. The Navy will provide comments on the draft report within 90 days and the contractor must submit the final report within 30 days of receiving comments. Additionally, the contractor must submit a short test summary detailing pass/fail results within 10 days of test completion.
The related federal contract solicitation seeks vibration and shock testing services for the Navy Ballast Water Treatment System. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division intends to award a firm fixed price contract requiring the contractor to conduct environmental testing in accordance with specified military standards and guidelines. Services will include shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference testing.
