About this file

Amendment 0001 for Solicitation 9594CS25Q0042 provides clarifications and modifications to a small business set-aside construction solicitation for boiler replacement at the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency's Re-Entry and Sanctions Center in Washington, DC. The amendment responds to contractor questions and makes several key changes, including revising the scope of work to specify installation of two new boilers in the basement level, replacing boiler exhaust stack, installing new motorized fresh air dampers, and providing detailed requirements for decommissioning and disposing of existing equipment.

The amendment extends the quote submission deadline to March 28, 2025 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, with the government intending to make an award within 30 days of the quote due date. A payment bond is required, and the project involves replacing boilers #1 and #3 while keeping boiler #2 operational. The solicitation is specifically for NAICS code 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors), with the contractor responsible for integrating the new boilers to the building's BMS control system and ensuring all installation work is completed within a 5-day on-site period. The project is tax-exempt, and the existing temporary boiler will be removed by the government prior to new boiler installation.
