About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Alpine School District (ASD) in Utah, soliciting bids for nutrition equipment procurement for Fall 2025. The IFB seeks the acquisition of six pressureless steamers (five gas and three electric models) and one braising pan to be delivered to various school locations, including Orchard Elementary, Viewpoint Middle School, American Fork High School, Lehi Elementary, Pleasant Grove High School, Orem Elementary, Northridge Elementary, and Canyon View Jr High. The preferred equipment includes specific Groen models, with potential for equivalent substitutions. The contract requires delivery and installation, with vendors responsible for coordinating deliveries, equipment placement, and existing equipment removal, though hook-up services are not required.

The bid evaluation will be conducted on a per-line-item basis, with awards made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who meets all IFB requirements. Pricing must include all associated costs, including shipping, and remain valid for up to six months after the award date. Vendors must comply with federal, state, and local regulations and submit detailed specifications for any proposed equivalent models through the IFB portal. The scope emphasizes that while specific makes and models are preferred, alternative products may be considered if they meet or exceed the performance specifications of the requested equipment.
