About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada for Temporary Employment Staffing Services, designated as RFP 26010VEF. The district is seeking a temporary staffing provider to support workforce requirements across multiple job classifications including clerical, construction trades, food service, and technical trades. The RFP was initially posted on June 27, 2025, with proposals due on August 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. PST. The initial contract term is one year, with the district reserving the right to extend the contract for up to six additional one-year periods. The selection of a supplier is tentatively scheduled for August 29, 2025, with a potential purchase order issuance on September 15, 2025.
The current monthly expenditure for temporary workers is approximately $400,000, though this amount fluctuates based on programs and grants. The pricing structure requires suppliers to reveal direct labor rates (DLR) for each employee category, with rates to remain fixed for the first two contract years and potentially adjusted thereafter using the Consumer Price Index. Suppliers must provide comprehensive screening services, including background investigations, in-person interviews, and reference checks. The district will require extensive monthly reporting, including detailed employee information, hours worked, rates, and departmental assignments. Additional requirements include drug-free referrals, English proficiency, and compliance with district policies, with the potential for multiple suppliers to be awarded to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
