About this file

This is a Truth in Negotiation Certification form issued by the State of Florida Department of Transportation for professional services contracts exceeding the Category Four threshold established in Florida Statutes Section 287.017. The form applies to the General Planning Consultants contract for the Ocala-Marion County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), which seeks professional support on a Task Order basis for transportation planning functions identified in the TPO Unified Planning Work Program. The selected contractor will provide professional services to accomplish tasks authorized by the TPO Director and Governing Board.

The certification requires consultants to warrant that all wage rates and factual unit costs supporting project compensation are accurate, complete, and current at the time of contracting. Consultants must submit this executed certificate with their Technical Proposal as prescribed in the contract advertisement. The Department reserves the right to adjust the agreement price within one year following contract completion to exclude any significant sums by which the price was increased due to inaccurate, incomplete, or noncurrent wage rates and other factual unit costs, with the end of the agreement defined as the date of final billing or acceptance of work by the Department, whichever is later.
