Ozark-St. Francis herbicide application map.jpg

The image is a Google Earth map showing a proposed herbicide application route for the Southeastern Power Administration (SWPA) on Line 3001, located in the Ozark National Forest region. The red line indicates the proposed herbicide application path, which traverses through rural areas near locations such as Raspberry, Victor, Simpson, and Dove Flights Long Pool Recreation Area. The map includes various geographic markers like roads, towns, and natural landmarks, with a legend identifying features such as Millers Bath and the Price Grove Assembly of God.

The map appears to be part of a federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number 89503625QSW000192) for herbicide application, specifically targeting vegetation management along a power line right-of-way. The proposed route crosses diverse terrain including forested areas and rural landscapes, suggesting a comprehensive vegetation control project for infrastructure maintenance. The detailed satellite imagery and precise routing indicate a systematic approach to herbicide application, likely aimed at maintaining clear access and preventing vegetation interference with power transmission infrastructure.
