Pre-Solicitation Conference and One-on-One Registration Information
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management will conduct a pre-solicitation conference and one-on-one sessions for the Savannah River National Laboratory
(SRNL) Management and Operation (M&O) procurement. These activities are for informational purposes only. DOE has scheduled these activities to be held virtually on April
28 and 29, and if necessary, April 30, 2020. Registration is limited to four (4) representative logins (with email addresses) per entity for the pre-solicitation conference and six (6) logins
(with email addresses) per entity for the one-on-one sessions. No recording, copying, or transcription devices will be allowed by attendees. Only DOE may record the activities.
Note that a Site Tour cannot be conducted at this time. However, if conditions allow at time of
Final RFP issuance, a Site Tour may be offered at that time.
PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE
The pre-solicitation conference will be held on April 28, 2020 via WebEx, with the hyperlink address to be sent to registrants. Participants should check-in to WebEx fifteen minutes early (by 10:45 AM Eastern Time [ET]) and the conference will begin at 11:00 AM ET. The event is anticipated to conclude no later than 1:30 PM ET. DOE will provide technical presentations regarding the management and operation of SRNL and procurement related information specific to the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). During the pre-solicitation conference, comments or questions can be submitted via the chat function on WebEx for DOE review.
DOE may provide written responses later via posting to the procurement website; however, DOE is not obligated to respond to all comments or questions.
Slides presented at the pre-solicitation conference will be subsequently posted on the
SRNL M&O procurement website at https://www.emcbc.doe.gov/SEB/sr_national_lab/.
ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS
DOE will hold one-on-one sessions via WebEx, with the hyperlink address to be sent to registrants, to obtain constructive feedback from interested parties regarding the SRNL M&O procurement and DOE’s management thereof. The one-on-one sessions are not only an opportunity for interested parties to present their responses to the questions included in the cover letter to the Draft RFP, but also, to share their thoughts on other areas of the procurement they believe DOE has done well and/or provide suggestions on areas where there could be improvement. DOE will consider all input and will not attribute the input received to any other participant. DOE is not requesting, and will not accept, any marketing material or any information identified as business sensitive by the participating entity. DOE can assign the WebEx “Presenter” role to the interested party, however any presentation materials shall also be emailed to SRNL@emcbc.doe.gov in advance of the one-on-one meeting.
The time allotted for the one-on-one sessions is estimated to be approximately 30 minutes each, but will be decided by DOE based on the number of requests received, and will be communicated to registrants prior to the date of the one-on-one sessions. Scheduling for the one-on-one sessions will be on a first-come first-serve basis based on receipt of a completed registration form. DOE will contact each participant via email with the date and time of their scheduled session.
