Predecessor to SRACES: COMMSS Contract
• The Strategic Analysis and Communications Support Services (COMMSS) contract was awarded to Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) as a total small business set-aside on October 1, 2012; ASI was later acquired by ASRC Federal Analytical Services, Inc. (a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC)).
• The COMMSS acquisition was conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.4, Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), utilizing General Services Administration (GSA).
• The COMMSS contract included a fixed-price Mission Services effort along with multiple fixed-price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Task Orders (TOs).
• The initial COMMSS contract and its supporting TOs have concluded, having been replaced by a temporary sole source COMMSS bridge contract to ASI on June 29, 2019, allowing for continued performance of the COMMSS effort.
