About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for NASA's Agency-wide Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) contract (Solicitation 80KSC025R0004), detailing LNG delivery requirements for two NASA space centers. The SOW covers delivery specifications for Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama, and Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Mississippi, with identical core requirements including pressure feed delivery, use of certified scales for product quantification, and serialized integrity seals on tankers.

Key delivery parameters differ slightly between locations: MSFC requires deliveries Monday through Thursday from 6:00-9:00 AM CST/CDT, while SSC allows deliveries Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM CST/CDT. Both centers mandate 24/7 delivery capability during high-use testing or unusual circumstances. Specific storage container details are provided, with MSFC having two tanks (28,000 and 2,000-gallon capacities) and SSC having one tank (15,140-gallon capacity). Security protocols include badging requirements, with drivers needing temporary access credentials and specific check-in procedures at each facility. Delivery notices range from 24-hour emergency orders to 10 business days' standard notification, with NASA personnel required to operate center equipment during LNG transfers.
