COMMUNICATIONS WITH INDUSTRY

LYNDON B. JOHNSON SPACE CENTER

JSC Engineering, Technology and Science (JETS) II

To facilitate open communications with industry, the Johnson Space Center (JSC) would like to invite interested parties or potential offerors interested in the JETS II acquisition to attend a Question and Answer session with each the following Engineering (EA) and Exploration Integration and Science (XA) Directorates Division/Office representatives.

EA13 – Elizabeth Kluksdahl, Deputy Office Manager EC – Raul Blanco, Division Chief EG – John Gowan, Associate Division Chief EP – Edgar Castro, Division Chief ER – Cliff Farmer, Deputy Division Chief ES – Jasen Raboin, Deputy Division Chief EV – Bruce Manners, Division Chief EX – Robert Villarreal, Branch Chief, JETS II Requirement Development Team (RDT) Member XE – Burt Laws, Manager XI – Joe Hamilton, JETS II RDT Member XT – Dwight Auzenne, Business Manager, JETS Technical Manager Representative (TMR)

Q&A sessions are anticipated to be held from June 14 – July 2. One meeting will be held per Division representative with an anticipated duration of 2 hours or less. Please do not contact the above representatives, or other JSC personnel, prior to or following the meetings. This Q&A session is intended to supplement Industry Day and provide detailed information, as permissible below, regarding the JETS II solicitation while minimizing disruption to JSC personnel.

The following topics may be discussed:

1. The general purpose of the announced procurement;

2. Any information about JSC that NASA has already made accessible to the public or is otherwise being made available to all potential offerors;

3. Historical information about the general nature or scope of prior contracts whose requirements will be addressed in whole or in part under a follow-on procurement;

4. Information that describes the federal procurement process as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), NASA FAR Supplement (NFS), or other published procurement policy documents; and

5. Procurement specific information already published such as information contained in the acquisition forecast, Statement of Work (SOW), and pre-solicitation synopses.

Questions regarding the subjects below will not be discussed:

1. Proprietary or confidential business information of incumbent contractor(s) or other business entities;

2. Privacy Act protected information such as, incumbent contractor employees’ personal data;

3. Trade Secrets Act protected information;

4. Speculation on what the Government might be looking for in proposals;

5. Different technical and management approaches;

6. Technical Efficiencies;

7. Any particular Government Emphasis; and

8. Incumbent’s performance.

This meeting is intended to be an open Q&A session and will be moderated by the RDT. Questions may be emailed in advance to the Contracting Officer, Shine Lin (shine.lin@nasa.gov), and Contract Specialist, Jerry Meeks Jr.

(jerry.g.meeks@nasa.gov). Pertinent questions that are not able to be addressed during the meeting will be posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE) and the JETS II website.

Recording is prohibited.

RSVP Instructions (send email to both the CO and CS):

Due to the potential volume of e-mail requests, as well as to distinguish the requests from all other e-mail, please annotate in the subject line indicating:

“JETS II: Industry Request for Division Meetings”

Please include the following information:

1) Point of Contact (with the company you represent).

2) Point of Contact’s phone number.

3) Point of Contact’s e-mail address.

4) The names of all persons planning to attend and their affiliated company and affiliated companies DUNS number(s).

5) The Division(s) meetings requested (e.g. EA13, EC, XI, etc).

6) If your company/companies do not wish to be added to the interested parties list.

7) Any specific disabilities that need to be accommodated.

Failure to follow the above instructions, or to RSVP by June 10, 2021, 4:00 PM Central Time may result in the Government’s inability to process the RSVP request prior to the scheduled meeting.
