LMX Implementation RFP Questions and Responses
1. Industry Question:
RFP section L.7; The offeror shall provide their plan to ensure a proper firewall is in place for any other potential GeoXO procurement activities. What is the firewall period? Does firewall end after ATP of the final instrument/bus or does it extend through the duration?
Government Response: The firewall ends after ATP of the final instrument/bus.
2. Industry Question:
RFP Section L.11; A.3 The paragraph referring to INR performance includes the sentence "The Offeror shall describe the instrument science performance over the areal coverage, planned frame rate, and instrument to spacecraft disturbances." Please clarify how this should be interpreted in the context of INR
Government Response: As defined in LMXPORD139 – LMXPORD141, all L1b lightning events must be navigated. At a minimum, the navigated events must cover the area defined in LMXPORD109.
