About this file
This document contains details for a federal contract opportunity with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Goddard Space Center. The solicitation is seeking proposals for a definition-phase study of a GeoXO Ocean Color Observations instrument that will fly on NOAA's upcoming GeoXO geostationary satellites, with the first launch planned for 2032. Up to two firms will be awarded a fixed price contract valued at approximately $5 million each for a 20-month study period. The study phase final report is due 12 months after award, with additional risk mitigation and technology development reports expected 20 months post-award. Offerors are encouraged to propose any related technology development or risk reduction activities to be included in the fixed price. Responses are due following the anticipated August 2021 release of the final RFP.
