This document provides information for the Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance (ATOM-5) federal contract opportunity with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Ames Research Center. The ATOM-5 contract will provide support services to the Aeronautics and Exploration Technology Directorates, including testing and facility operations, development projects, facility maintenance and repairs, and administration. Facilities include wind tunnels, high-enthalty Arc Jet facilities, and the Sensor and Thermal Protection System Advanced Research Lab, supporting experiments for ARC, other NASA centers, other federal agencies, and commercial entities. The draft RFP is anticipated for release on June 29, 2021, with the final RFP on August 10, 2021 and proposals due around September 24, 2021. The solicitation and documents will be available on sam.gov and it is the offeror's responsibility to monitor for releases and amendments. Prospective offerors should notify the contracting office of intent to submit an offer.

Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance (ATOM-5)
Industry Day Information 8-9-21
The technical presentations from the ATOM-5 Industry Day/Pre-solicitation Conference have been marked Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Potential offerors may submit a request to access these documents through sam.gov. It may take 2-3 business days for the Contracting Officer to respond.
Some technical reference documents that will be provided with the RFP will also be marked CUI.
Any documents that are marked CUI and provided through the ATOM-5 solicitation are to be used for proposal preparation purposes only.
Companies shall not retain the CUI-marked documents beyond the ATOM-5 proposal due date.
Please confirm that all CUI-marked files have been deleted after that date by emailing the Contracting Officer, Umetria Dickson, at u.t.dickson@nasa.gov. Thank you.
