Summary of Performance Work Statement for HVOF System Calibration and Maintenance
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) describes the contractor's obligations for providing comprehensive calibration, maintenance, and technical support services for four Multi-Coat High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) systems located in Building 327 at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The contractor shall deliver all necessary parts, labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel required to perform annual calibrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance on these systems. The scope encompasses all system components as originally configured and delivered by Oerlikon Metco, including but not limited to the booth structure, robot and robot controller, operator desk, software, dust collectors, turntables, gas safety monitors, process control centers, gas management centers, electrical cables and controls, gas hoses, HVOF guns, powder feeders, chillers, and heat exchangers. Additionally, the contractor must provide technical support via telephone as specified in PWS paragraph 1.3.
The services will be performed for the 402d Maintenance Support Group (MXSG) at Robins Air Force Base, managed by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center. The government representative retains discretionary authority to determine which system components receive maintenance during each service cycle, allowing flexibility in addressing operational priorities and equipment condition.
