About this file
This is a single source certification letter from 806 Technologies, Inc. submitted to the School District of Manatee County, Florida, for the procurement of compliance accountability software. The letter certifies that 806 Technologies is the sole developer and exclusive provider of Crate compliance accountability software and Plan4Learning continuous improvement planning software. These proprietary solutions are designed to house documentation and monitor compliance across multiple educational departments, including Title I, Special Education (SPED), Career and Technical Education (CTE), Compensatory Education (CompEd), and Safety. The software is developed, programmed, maintained, and distributed exclusively by 806 Technologies and its employees. The procurement was posted on September 3, 2025, with a mandatory 15 business day posting period and a response deadline of September 19, 2025. No competitive bidding process was initiated, as 806 Technologies is designated as the single source provider.
The procurement follows fiscal compliance guidelines under 2 CFR 200.320(f)(3), which permits single source procurement when an item is available from only one source and competitive solicitation is impractical. No specific pricing details, set-asides, or contract term information were provided in the certification letter. The company is located in Plano, Texas, and inquiries regarding the procurement should be directed to the accounting department at accounting@806technologies.com or 877-331-6160, extension 3, with specific contact names listed as Kara, Tara, or Mark Hailey, Chief Customer Officer.
