About this file

This document is a questions and answers document for the Fairfield Town Park Phase 1 project located in Utah County, Utah. The document covers various technical and procedural details for potential bidders, with questions and answers addressing project specifics such as site preparation, earthwork, water services, and disposal requirements. Key details include reusing an existing fire hydrant, utilizing an existing SWPPP plan, disposing of excess soil on-site, and handling arsenic-contaminated materials. The bid is due on August 5th by 5 pm, with the town handling inspections and providing CAD files for earthwork calculations.

The project involves site preparation to 5 inches below finished grade, with the town covering dump fees at the Intermountain Regional Landfill for arsenic-contaminated soil. There are specific notes about water services for the future town hall, pipe cleaning coordination with irrigation schedules, and minor bid schedule corrections (such as correcting a square footage typo from 4,370 to 43,700 sqft). The town will provide additional documentation like arsenic testing reports and CAD files, and bidders are advised to add line items for specific tasks like concrete ditch repairs and pipe removals. No trees will be removed, and the project appears to be preparing the site for future park development.
