About this file

This is a minimum insurance requirements document for the Records, Taxes and Treasury Division of Broward County, Florida, establishing coverage mandates for a Document and Media Scanning Services contract. The contract is an open-end, indefinite quantity agreement with an initial term of three years and two optional annual renewals. The contractor will provide comprehensive scanning services including pickup, transportation, document preparation, scanning, indexing, and conversion for the RTT Division and various other Broward County agencies as needed. The County will issue purchase orders as required without a guaranteed minimum quantity, and the contractor must fulfill all ordered quantities at the contracted price.

The insurance requirements establish substantial coverage obligations for the contractor, including General Liability with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability of $1,000,000 combined bodily injury and property damage, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, Excess Liability, Cyber Liability of $2,000,000 per claim with a maximum deductible of $100,000, Professional Liability of $2,000,000 per claim with a maximum deductible of $100,000, and Crime and Fidelity coverage of $1,000,000 per claim with Broward County named as a loss payee and additional insured. The contractor's insurance must provide primary coverage with no contribution from the County, include waiver of subrogation in favor of Broward County, and for claims-made policies, coverage must be maintained and evidence provided for at least three years after contract completion.
