About this file
This document is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement for Invitation for Bid (IFB) # 26TH05-5 issued by the Jordan School District for Tableau Software Licenses. The document requires vendors to certify they are not currently engaged in an "economic boycott" or a "boycott of the State of Israel" as defined under Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97). Vendors must agree to maintain this stance throughout the contract period and are prohibited from boycotting specific entities or companies without an ordinary business purpose, including the State of Israel, companies in traditional energy/mining/agriculture, firearms-related companies, companies not meeting certain environmental standards, or companies that do not facilitate specific medical access.
The statement requires vendors to immediately notify the public entity if they engage in any prohibited boycott. Vendors must sign and date the document as part of their bid response, indicating their agreement to comply with these restrictions for the entire contract duration. The document is specifically tied to a procurement for Tableau Software Licenses, though specific licensing details are not elaborated within this particular attachment.

PUBLIC CONTRACT BOYCOTT RESTRICTION STATEMENT
(This document to be submitted with bid response)
In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms;
companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws;
or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.
We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
