About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 to the bid package for Project 241532, the IHS Crow Hospital and Mold Damage Repair Design. The addendum, issued August 28, 2026, modifies the original bidding and contract documents through clarifications and corrections across multiple trade disciplines.
The addendum introduces architectural changes via new drawings (A232.2 and A722.2) and modifies mechanical specifications by deleting Specification Section 23 7413 (Packaged Outdoor Central-Station Air-Handling Units) and issuing new Specification Section 23 7313 (Semi-Custom Packaged Air-Handling Units) in its place. Plumbing modifications include a new drawing P523.2. Electrical work is updated through one new drawing (E201.1) and two reissued drawings (E202.2 and E203.2) with revisions to junction boxes, circuits for equipment, and rooftop equipment circuits. Two new communications specifications are added: Section 27 0000 (General Requirements for Communications) and Section 28 1300 (Access Control Software and Database Management), along with Section 28 1500 (Access Control Hardware Devices). Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the bid form. The specifications include detailed requirements for semi-custom air-handling units with manufacturers including Carrier, Daikin Applied, Trane, and York; communications infrastructure per NFPA and ANSI/TIA standards; and access control systems with distributed processing capabilities, comprehensive database management, and integration with building automation systems. The specifications emphasize quality assurance through manufacturer qualifications, detailed submittals, field quality control, and operator training requirements.
