About this file
This document is Attachment 7 to Amendment 1 of the Access to Outpatient Longitudinal Data IDIQ contract (75F40125R00037), detailing the FDA Secure Electronic Mail System requirements. The attachment specifies that contractors must obtain a commercial grade U.S. Domestic 1024-bit key certificate by sending a signed message to securemail@fda.hhs.gov with the subject line "External Secure Electronic Mail". After the initial email, an administrator will provide further instructions on the certification process.
The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will be responsible for following up with the contractor to ensure full adherence to the secure email system procedures. This attachment appears to be a specific technical requirement for secure communication between the contractor and the FDA, focusing on establishing a standardized, secure electronic mail protocol for the contract.
