Epoxy Floor Resurfacing Project

1. Can a site visit be scheduled?

Please see ‘Sol_A1_Revised RFQ Attachment_75F40124Q00355’ section 5 (beginning on page 2) for site visit information including RSVP requirements.

2. Is there an incumbent? Who is the incumbent?

There is not an incumbent; this is a new requirement.

3. Will you be using a contract vehicle for this?

An existing contract vehicle is not being used; this solicitation is an open market total small business set-aside.

4. Are there pictures of the existing conditions of the floor and work areas that can be provided?

No pictures are available.

5. The SOW states work is to be completed in 2 phases, what are the areas for phase 1 and phase 2?

6. Can extended hours of work be possible for quicker completion of the phases?

Please see SOW section 3.b. regarding acceptable work hours.

7. Are there any security requirements or special protocols for entering the facility?

From New Hampshire Ave FDA White Oak campus entrance, visitors must proceed to vehicle screening facility for directions to park and walk to building 22 to check-in and to be escorted.

8. Can you confirm that the contractor is not responsible for moving any equipment/fixtures to and from the work areas?

Contractor will not be responsible for moving any equipment/fixtures.

9. Will there be an area to place a 20yd dumpster?

No place for a 20yd dumpster. There is a dumpster onsite that can be used by the Contractor; but, Contractor will need to provide own trash bin with cover to transport waste to dumpster.
